SA athletes in record form

​A total of 13 national oudoor records and bests have been set in the senior, junior and youth age groups this season, with Wayde van Niekerk leading a South African charge in the first half of the year.
Over the last month, Van Niekerk broke the SA 200m record and set a world best over the unofficial 300m distance.
Nine other SA athletes have also clocked new individual marks across a variety of disciplines since the start of the 2017 campaign.
