Lebogang Shange has got his season off to a solid start

Race walker Lebogang Shange gave his national 20km record a shake on Sunday, though he ultimately fell short of his mark at the Oceania Race Walking Championships in Adelaide.
Competing at the event after a training camp Down Under, Shange took second place in 1:21:00, crossing the line 54 seconds outside his SA best set at the same event last year.
Fellow Olympian Wayne Snyman also showed fine form in the early stages of the season, taking sixth place in 1:21:26.
Snyman missed his personal best, which he set at the SA Senior Championships in Stellenbosch last year, by 40 seconds.
Australian athlete Dane Bird-Smith, the bronze medallist at the 2016 Rio Games, won the race in 1:19:37.
