April targets fourth Hannover victory

Marathon specialist Lusapho April will return to Hannover this year as he sets his sights on another victory at his happy hunting ground in Germany.
A three-time winner of the Hannover Marathon, April confirmed on Monday he would turn out the annual race for the sixth time.
“I’m delighted to be returning to defend my title at the Hannover Marathon,” April posted on twitter.
Having previously secured the the title in 2011, 2013 and 2016, the course record holder (2:08:32) was likely to line up as the favourite for an unprecedented fourth win at the annual event on April 9.
