Olympic silver medallist Sunette Viljoen will be eager to capitalise on her fine form on Thursday night when she turns out at the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Viljoen was the only SA athlete included in the start lists this week for the 11th of 14 legs in the top-flight campaign.

Though she faces a line-up which excludes Olympic champion Sara Kolak of Croatia, she is set to meet the likes of Czech world record holder Barbora Spotakova and former world champion Christina Obergfoll of Germany.

Four of the other seven women in the field have thrown further than the South African star’s season’s best of 65.14m.

The meeting will be broadcast live from 8pm on SuperSport 6 and SuperSport 9.
