Athletics South Africa has announced a 33-member final team for the Southern Region Junior Championships in Lusaka, Zambia next month.
While the event was initially scheduled to be held between June 4-5, the national federation confirmed in its latest calendar released this month that the event had been delayed by two weeks and would be held between June 17-18.
No relay squads were included in the team, but ASA told its members on Wednesday that relay squads could be entered closer to the event.
The regional spectacle would act as final national trials ahead of the World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland in July.
