SCOTT-EFURD BREAKS SA INDOOR MILE RECORD

Distance runner Dominique Scott-Efurd smashed her own SA record in the women’s indoor mile in New York on Saturday.
The 23-year-old University of Arkansas student clocked 4:31.57 to take 10th place at the annual Millrose Games.
Scott-Efurd bettered the previous national mark of 4:36.11, which she set in Fayetteville in January last year.
