Anaso Jobodwana will not compete at the World Indoor Championships

A revised 10-member team has been released by Athletics South Africa for the World Indoor Championships in Portland, Oregon next month.
One change has been made to the 11-member squad revealed by the federation two weeks ago, with sprinter Anaso Jobodwana’s name removed from the list.
The World Championships 200m bronze medallist told he had informed ASA of his unavailability before the initial team was announced, but had been included anyway.
Further changes to the squad, released by ASA as the “final team”, could still be expected with the international qualifying window remaining open until March 7.
