Controversial American speedster Justin Gatlin won the race in 19.68, with Jamaican Nickel Ashmeade taking third place in 20.18.
Meanwhile, Johan Cronje ended eighth in the men’s mile in 3:53.02, crossing the line 1.32 outside his own national record, with Ayanleh Souleiman of Djibouti winning a close race up front in 3:51.10.
