MMONE, CONRAD ON FORM IN MOROCCO

Joel Mmone and Nolene Conrad both set personal bests at the ASTA Footing 10km race in Taroudant, Morocco, on Sunday.
Mmone finished eighth in the men’s race in 28:37, improving his career record set in Cape Town in September last year by 33 seconds.
Kenyan Amos Mitei secured victory in 28:02, crossing the line four seconds ahead of Morocco’s Ahmed Tamri.
Conrad was fourth in the women’s race in 33:20, chipping eight seconds off her 11-month-old lifetime best.
Malika Assahsah of Morocco comfortably won the race in 31:30, finishing 52 seconds clear of Ethiopian Hiwot Gebremaryam.
